Cancellation policy
Subscriptions
Last updated: April 3, 2026
This policy applies to subscriptions for physical products sold online to consumers in the EU/EEA and (if you sell there) the UK. It is based on EU rules on distance contracts and consumer rights.
1. What is a subscription?
A subscription means that you choose a product and a delivery frequency, and we automatically send you the product at that frequency, until you cancel your subscription.
You can also buy the product only once, without a subscription.
2. Prices, frequencies and discounts
For the same product, you can choose one of the options:
- Monthly delivery: 12% to 20% discount, depending on the product, applied to the product price at the time of billing.
- 2-month delivery: 8% to 15% discount, depending on the product, applied to the product price at the time of billing.
- 3-month delivery: 5% to 10% discount, depending on the product, applied to the product price at the time of billing.
The final price paid by you on each invoice is: the product price displayed in the store on the day of billing minus the subscription discount, plus the delivery cost (if applicable), plus applicable taxes.
If we change the price of the product or the cost of delivery, we will clearly show you the new total before you place your order/initiate your subscription and confirm it in the order confirmation email.
3. Your consent to the charge
We will only charge your card based on your explicit consent given when initiating the subscription.
At checkout, before you finalize your subscription order, we will clearly show you:
- the product subscribed to
- the chosen frequency (1 month, 2 months, 3 months)
- the discount applied
- the estimated payment amount for that billing (including delivery and taxes, if applicable)
- the fact that recurring payments will follow until you cancel
We do not use pre-checked options or hidden costs for additional payments.
After completion, we will send you an order and subscription confirmation by email, on a durable medium (email), with the details above.
4. Payment authentication and recurring payments (PSD2)
For your first payment, your bank may require authentication (e.g. 3D Secure), in accordance with PSD2/SCA rules. For subsequent recurring payments, authentication is usually not required, but your bank may sometimes require authentication for security reasons. If authentication is required and is not completed, the payment may fail.
5. How billing and delivery work?
We initiate the invoice/order for each subscription cycle, on the day scheduled by the subscription system.
We deliver your product to the address set in your account.
Delivery times are those in the store's Delivery Policy.
6. Manage your subscription from your account
You can manage your subscription from your customer account, in the Subscriptions area, where you can:
- view active subscriptions
- change your shipping address
- update your payment method
- cancel your subscription
7. Failed payments, retries, and subscription closure
If your recurring payment fails, we will try again 3 times, with an interval of 7 days between attempts. If all 3 attempts fail:
- the order for that cycle is canceled
- the subscription is automatically closed
You can reactivate your subscription by initiating a new subscription or by re-subscribing, if the function exists in your account.
8. Cancellation of the subscription by you
You can cancel the subscription at any time from your account.
Application rule:
- if you cancel before the next order is generated (billing date), we will not initiate the next debit
- if we have already initiated the order and the payment for the current cycle was successful, the order follows the normal delivery/return rules
9. Right of withdrawal (14 days) and returns
If you are a consumer and you buy online, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving a reason, under the terms of the law applicable to distance contracts. For subscriptions with periodic deliveries of products, the 14-day period is usually calculated from the receipt of the first delivery of the subscription.
Effect of withdrawal:
- you notify us of your withdrawal within 14 days
- you return the product according to the Return Policy
- we will refund your eligible payments according to the law and the return policy
Exceptions and conditions:
- unsealed products that cannot be returned for health/hygiene protection reasons, if applicable to your product
- partially used consumable products, where the return policy may limit the refund according to the law
10. Disputes, complaints, guarantees
If you have a problem with your subscription, write to us at hello@skinlogic.eu.
Your legal rights regarding product conformity remain valid and are not limited by this policy.
11. Data protection and your card
We use Shopify and integrated payment processors to process orders and payments.
We do not store your full card details on our servers. The payment processor handles the card details.
We process your data (name, address, email, order history) to execute the contract and for support.
12. Subscription and Policy Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on the site with the date of the update. Subscriptions already initiated will follow the terms displayed and confirmed at the time you placed your order, except as required by law.
Pre-orders
Last updated: April 3, 2026
This policy applies to pre-orders for physical products sold online to consumers in the European Union/European Economic Area and, where applicable, the United Kingdom. The policy is aligned with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and EU rules on distance contracts.
1. What is a pre-order?
A pre-order allows you to reserve a product that:
- is not yet available in stock or
- is scheduled to be released at a future date.
By placing a pre-order, you enter into a sales contract with subsequent delivery.
2. Information displayed before placing a pre-order
Before you complete your pre-order, we clearly and visibly display:
- the fact that the product is on pre-order
- the estimated delivery date or estimated delivery interval
- the total payment price (product + delivery + taxes, if applicable)
- whether payment is made in full when placing the pre-order or upon shipment
- your right of cancellation and withdrawal
We do not use ambiguous wording or hidden information.
3. Price and payment
The price displayed on the pre-order is the price you pay.
Payment can be:
- in full, when placing the pre-order, or
- authorized when placing the pre-order and captured upon shipment
The payment method and the time of debit are clearly displayed before you confirm the order.
We only debit your card based on your explicit consent expressed at checkout.
4. Pre-order confirmation
After completion, we send you a confirmation email that includes:
- the pre-ordered product
- the price paid
- the pre-order status
- the estimated delivery date
- your legal rights
The email represents proof of the contract on a durable medium, in accordance with EU law.
5. Delivery times
The delivery date displayed is an estimate.
If there are delays:
- we will inform you without delay
- we will communicate a new estimated deadline
If the delivery exceeds the estimated deadline by more than 30 days and you do not accept the new deadline:
- you can cancel the pre-order
- we will refund the amounts paid in full, without penalties
6. Your right to cancel before delivery
You can cancel the pre-order at any time before the product is shipped.
Effects:
- if payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid in full
- the refund will be made by the same payment method, within the legal deadline
7. Right of withdrawal after delivery
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving a reason.
Withdrawal:
- is made according to the store's Return Policy
- presupposes the return of the product under the conditions provided by law
Exceptions may exist for:
- sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed
- personalized products
These exceptions are detailed in the Return Policy.
8. Modification or cancellation of the pre-order by us
In exceptional situations (for example, impossibility of production or supply), we may cancel a pre-order.
In this case:
- we inform you immediately
- we refund you in full any amount paid
We do not replace the product without your consent.
9. Product conformity
Products delivered following pre-orders benefit from the same legal conformity rights as any product sold online:
- the product must correspond to the description
- be safe and usable according to its intended purpose
Your legal rights are not limited by this policy.
10. Data protection and payments
Your card details are processed exclusively by integrated payment processors (Shopify Payments or other providers)
- we do not store full card details
- your data is processed for contract execution and customer support
Full details can be found in the Privacy Policy (GDPR).
11. Evidence and transparency
For each pre-order we keep:
- the order confirmation sent by email
- the date and time of placing the order
- the amount paid
- the payment method
This information provides proof of your explicit consent and excludes charges without consent.
12. Policy changes
We update this policy when necessary. The version applicable to your pre-order is the one displayed and accepted at the time of placing the order.
