Terms of service

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms apply to the use of www.amerin.eu and www.amerin.ro (the “website”) and to orders placed on them. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you accept these terms, and the version in force at that time applies to your order.

1. Who we are

The website is operated by BEAUTY & WELLNESS COUNTER S.R.L., registered office at Str. Ioan Budai-Deleanu nr. 5, Cugir, Alba County, 515600, Romania, Trade Register no. J2026049511004 (EUID ROONRC.J2026049511004), tax identification number (CUI) 55415560 (“amerin”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at hello@amerin.eu or on +40 775 059 364 (phone and WhatsApp).

The store runs on the Shopify platform. In addition to these terms, the following apply:

2. Who can order

You can order if you are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity. We sell to consumers in Romania, in the other European Union member states and in the countries shown at checkout. For purchases for business use or resale, please contact us about our B2B programme.

3. Product information

For each product we show the description, directions for use, the full ingredient list (INCI), the quantity, the price and the warnings. Please read them before ordering and check that the product suits you, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.

Cosmetic products are not medicines and do not treat medical conditions. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. The information on the website does not replace advice from a doctor or pharmacist. The results described may vary from person to person.

Images are for presentation. Colours may look slightly different on different screens, and packaging may differ slightly in design from the image without changing the product.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in the currency of the delivery country you select (for example EUR or RON) and include all applicable taxes. Shipping costs and, where applicable, the cash-on-delivery fee are shown in the cart and at checkout before you confirm your order. For orders delivered outside the European Union, customs and import duties are paid by you, as set out in our Shipping Policy.

The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error (for example a clearly derisory price), we will tell you before shipping. You can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it, in which case we refund the full amount paid.

5. Ordering and formation of the contract

To order, add products to your cart, enter your delivery and billing details, choose the delivery and payment method, review the order summary and confirm the order with the checkout button. Until you press that button, you can check and correct the details you entered at any time, directly in the cart and on the checkout pages.

After you place the order, you receive an order confirmation email with the products, the total price, the delivery cost and the payment method you chose. The contract is formed when this email is sent.

Your payment obligation depends on the method you chose:

  • card and digital wallet payments are authorised when you place the order;
  • bank transfers must be made within 10 working days of placing the order, as set out in our Payment Policy;
  • cash on delivery is paid when you receive the parcel.

We prepare your order for shipping once a card payment has been authorised, once a bank transfer has been received in full or, for cash on delivery, once the order has been placed. For cash-on-delivery orders, we may contact you by phone, SMS or WhatsApp to confirm your delivery details.

Once the contract has been formed, we do not cancel your order unilaterally. The contract may end before delivery in the cases provided by law and in the following situations:

  • a bank transfer has not been received in full within the period above; in that case we will let you know by email;
  • a card payment has been cancelled or declined by the card issuer or the payment processor;
  • a product can no longer be delivered and you choose to end the contract, as set out in section 7 and in our Shipping Policy;
  • the price was displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error, as set out in section 4.

If an order shows objective signs of fraud, for example the use of a card without the cardholder's consent, we may put its preparation on hold and ask you for additional information to verify it. If the check confirms that the means of payment was used without authorisation, we may refuse to perform the order. In all the situations above, we refund any amounts received without delay.

If you want to change an order, write to us within 20 minutes of placing it. After that, the order may already be in preparation.

The contract is concluded in English or Romanian, depending on the version of the website you use. Your order is stored in our store system. If you have a customer account, you can find it in your order history. The order confirmation is sent to you by email, and you can save or print these terms from this page. We recommend that you keep the order confirmation and a copy of these terms.

6. Payment

The payment methods available are shown at checkout and depend on the delivery country: bank card and digital wallets (for example Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay, when shown), bank transfer and, for deliveries in Romania, cash on delivery. Card details are entered directly with the payment processor; we do not receive or store them. Deadlines and conditions are set out in our Payment Policy.

7. Delivery

We deliver by courier to the address you provide, in the countries shown at checkout. Estimated delivery times and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Unless we have agreed a different time, we deliver without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is formed (Article 18(1) of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014). If we do not deliver by the agreed time or within that period, you can ask us to deliver within an additional period appropriate to the circumstances. If we still do not deliver within that additional period, you can terminate the contract. You can terminate the contract straight away, without an additional period, if we have refused to deliver or if the delivery date was essential, given the circumstances in which the contract was concluded or what you told us beforehand. In these cases we refund all amounts paid without undue delay and no later than 7 days after you tell us your decision (Article 18(4) of Ordinance no. 34/2014). These rules do not limit your other legal rights.

The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to you when you, or a person you designate other than the courier, take physical possession of the parcel, subject to the exceptions provided by law (Article 20 of Ordinance no. 34/2014). Please check the parcel on receipt and let us know as soon as possible if it is damaged. This recommendation is not a condition for exercising your rights.

Please check your delivery details before confirming your order. If delivery fails because of a wrong or incomplete address that you gave us, we will contact you to arrange a new delivery, whose direct cost is paid by you, or to end the contract as set out in section 6 of our Refund Policy.

8. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day on which you, or a person you designate other than the courier, take possession of the products, without giving a reason, under Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 implementing Directive 2011/83/EU.

You can tell us that you are withdrawing through the form on our Withdrawal and Return Form page, by email to hello@amerin.eu or using the model form in our Refund Policy. You do not need to give a reason, and withdrawal does not depend on our approval.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed (Article 16(1)(e) of Ordinance no. 34/2014). Our products are cosmetics, food supplements and care products applied to the skin, which cannot be returned once the seal has been broken. If a product has been opened or used, the loss in its value is deducted from the refund. The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers; purchases made for business purposes do not carry it. The procedure, costs and refund are described in our Refund Policy.

9. Legal guarantee of conformity

We are liable for any lack of conformity of the products that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery (Article 9(1) of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 implementing Directive (EU) 2019/771). A lack of conformity that becomes apparent within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless the contrary is proven or this presumption is incompatible with the nature of the product or of the lack of conformity (Article 10). A product is not in conformity, for example, if it is damaged, incomplete, contaminated, past its expiry date at delivery or different from its description.

If you identify a lack of conformity, you can contact us at hello@amerin.eu, giving your order number and a description of the problem. Photos of the product can help us resolve your request faster, but sending them is not a general condition for exercising your legal rights.

We are liable for any lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within the period set by Ordinance no. 140/2021. Your rights do not depend on reporting the problem within an arbitrary period after you discover it.

For damage visible on delivery, such as broken packaging or leaked contents, please write to us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, so we can check it with the courier. This recommendation is not a condition for accepting your complaint.

If a product is not in conformity, you have the following rights under Ordinance no. 140/2021:

  • you can choose between repair and replacement, unless the remedy you choose is impossible or would impose disproportionate costs on us (Article 11). For cosmetic products and food supplements, repair is usually not possible, so the appropriate remedy is replacement;
  • if the lack of conformity becomes apparent within 30 calendar days of delivery, you are entitled to have the product replaced (Article 11(7));
  • repair or replacement is free of charge for you and is carried out within a reasonable period, which cannot exceed 15 calendar days from the date you informed us of the lack of conformity and which we agree with you in writing (Article 12);
  • we bear the costs needed to bring the product into conformity, including transport and collection of the non-conforming product;
  • you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract in the cases provided by Article 11 of Ordinance no. 140/2021, for example if we have not carried out the repair or replacement, if the lack of conformity persists or if it is so serious that it justifies such a remedy straight away. The contract cannot be terminated for a minor lack of conformity. If the contract is terminated, we refund the price once we receive the product or proof that you have returned it, using the same payment method and at no cost to you (Article 14).

If the product matches its description, its ingredient list and the claims made about it, individual sensitivity or allergy to a listed ingredient, personal preferences and results that vary from person to person are not a lack of conformity (details in section 7 of our Refund Policy). Nor is damage caused after delivery by using the product contrary to the instructions or by storing it improperly. The expiry date and the period after opening (PAO) shown on the packaging indicate how long the product can be used safely; they do not limit our liability for any lack of conformity that existed at delivery.

10. Customer account

You can order without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and your saved details accurate. We may suspend an account used abusively or fraudulently after notifying you, unless the security of the store requires immediate action.

11. Reviews

Reviews must describe your real experience with the product. We do not publish reviews that contain other people's personal data, offensive language, advertising or statements presenting cosmetic products as a treatment for diseases.

How we check reviews: reviews are collected through Judge.me. Those marked “Verified” come from people whose order has been confirmed in our store, usually through the email sent after delivery. Reviews written directly on the website without a linked order do not receive this mark. We publish both positive and negative reviews, provided they follow the rules above. We do not make any benefit conditional on a positive rating or review.

By submitting a review, you allow us to display it on the website and in amerin materials, with the display name you choose. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

12. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, trademarks, logos and design of the website belong to amerin or our partners and are protected by law. You may use them only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use requires our written consent.

13. Use of the website

Please use the website lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt its operation or security, access data that does not belong to you or collect content automatically. We may restrict access in the event of such activity.

14. Liability

We are liable to you as provided by law, including for the conformity of the products and for defective products. We make every effort to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date. We are not liable for website interruptions caused by maintenance or by external providers, or for damage caused by using products contrary to the instructions.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law, or our liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.

15. Force majeure

We are not liable for failing to perform, or delaying, our obligations because of force majeure within the meaning of the Romanian Civil Code. We will inform you as soon as possible of such an event. If it delays delivery by more than 30 days, you can cancel the order and get back the amount paid.

16. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you are dissatisfied with anything, write to us at hello@amerin.eu. We acknowledge receipt and reply within 30 days at the latest.

If we cannot reach a solution, you can contact:

  • the Romanian consumer protection authority (ANPC), anpc.ro;
  • the ANPC alternative dispute resolution (SAL) platform, at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro;
  • if you live in another EU country, a dispute resolution body from the European Commission's list at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu, or the European Consumer Centre in your country.

You may also bring proceedings before the competent courts, including those where you live.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the law or our services change. The new version applies only to orders placed after it is published. Orders already placed remain subject to the version in force on the date they were placed.
