RematiForte began as a product created for people close to me. My mother and several of our neighbours were frequently dealing with joint discomfort and the feeling of stiffness that can make everyday movement less comfortable. I wanted to develop something they could easily incorporate into their daily routine through massage.

During the development process, I was advised by naturopath Dan Homorodean, who furthered his studies in Mallorca, Roma, Madrid. Together, we explored different botanicals and ingredients traditionally used in body-care and massage rituals.

We tested and refined the formula around a combination of botanical extracts, essential oils and menthol, looking for the right balance between a cooling sensation, the massage experience and a comfortable after-feel.

The final formula brings together 15 botanical ingredients — 7 plant extracts and 8 essential oils — alongside Menthol. Arnica, Boswellia, Devil's Claw, Comfrey, Willow, Wintergreen, Rosemary, Ginger and Turmeric are just some of the ingredients we chose to combine.

The first people to use the gel were the very people it had been created for. Their feedback, and seeing the product gradually become part of their everyday routine, convinced me that the formula deserved to reach beyond our immediate circle. That is how ReumatiForte became part of AMERÍN WELLNESS.
